About University of Westminster

The University of Westminster was founded in 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institution, before receiving a royal charter a year later. It became a university in 1992 and adopted its current name. Its main campus is on Regent Street, with other campuses in Fitzrovia, Marylebone and Harrow and it runs a university in Uzbekistan.It has around 20,000 students including international students from more than 169 different countries. The University of Westminster is ranked in the top 700 global universities in the QS World University Rankings.
