Glasgow Caledonian University was formed in 1993 when The Queen’s College Glasgow merged with Glasgow Polytechnic. The Queen’s College had dated back to 1875 and specialised in domestic science training. The university has campuses in London and New York as well as its main Glasgow campus on the site of the former Buchanan Street Station.More than 22,000 students chose Glasgow Caledonian University each year, including international students from more than 100 countries.
