BS Childhood Special Education:Grades 1-6

Course Overview This dual-certification Bachelor of Science program prepares you to become a knowledgeable and inspiring teacher for children in grades 1-6, with and without disabilities. You will master the skills needed to encourage diverse learners and manage an inclusive classroom. The program culminates in a hands-on student teaching experience and qualifies graduates for New York State Initial Teaching Certification in both Childhood Education and Special Education.
