Course Overview This PGCE in Science provides a route to a recognized teaching qualification (Eligibility to Teach) for graduates aspiring to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at the post-primary level. The programme is designed to develop both your subject-specific pedagogy and general professional skills, preparing you to teach across the 11-18+ age range in accordance with the Northern Ireland Curriculum. It offers a unique blend of school-based placements and university learning, including specialized opportunities in Irish-medium and outdoor education. Key Program Highlights Earn a recognised teaching qualification (Eligibility to Teach/QTS) aligned with GTCNI professional competences.
