Course Overview Algoma U's Accounting program provides students with fundamental understanding of accounting concepts and principles needed to succeed in their chosen accounting career. The students will learn what it takes to be a creative, independent problem solver who can be relied on to get the job done right the first time. This program offers a pathway into an array of accounting career opportunities for those with an aptitude for numbers, organizing, and analytical problem-solving skills. The program will provide students with the opportunity to pursue the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and/or the Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) designation after graduation.
