Course Overview Xavier University's undergraduate degree in Special Education prepares students to become highly effective classroom teachers through a robust foundation in liberal arts and hands-on, child-centered learning. This theory-based program integrates continual field experiences and allows students to specialize as an Intervention Specialist in one of three critical concentration areas. The program also offers a unique pathway for students interested in pursuing a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree.
