Course Overview This integrated degree provides a comprehensive exploration of the interconnected fields of modern history and politics, examining how past events and ideas shape contemporary political systems and global affairs. Students will develop a critical understanding of political cause and effect while investigating the last 200 years of western history, from the origins of modern political thought to the consequences of the Cold War. The program culminates in a final-year dissertation, allowing for specialized research in either discipline.
