Bournemouth University was established as the Bournemouth Municipal College in the early 1990s. It was renamed the Bournemouth College of Technology in 1970 and was granted degree-awarding powers in 1990 under its current name. With over 100 years of experience in education, the University offers over 150 undergraduate courses, over 100 postgraduate courses, and doctoral courses in diverse disciplines such as management, technology, social science, health business, media, and communication.
