Course Overview The Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (OEAS) program is an interdisciplinary graduate major that provides a foundational understanding of the Earth system before students pursue focused research in a specialized concentration. The core of the program is the production of a high-quality, publication-ready thesis or dissertation under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Pursue advanced, specialized research in one of five concentrations: Atmospheric Sciences, Geological Oceanography, Geophysics, Ocean Ecology & Biogeochemistry, or Physical Oceanography.
