Course Overview The MMus by Research is a dynamic, practice-led postgraduate degree designed for composers and performers to make an original contribution to the field of music. This program combines a significant creative project—a substantial composition portfolio or a full public recital—with a critical written component to contextualize the work within a rigorous research framework. Students receive dedicated supervision and are assessed through a viva voce examination with internal and external experts.
