Course Overview This dual-certification Bachelor of Science program prepares you to become a skilled and compassionate teacher for both general and special education students in grades 1-6. You will gain a deep understanding of child development and master the techniques needed to inspire a diverse range of young learners. The program culminates in a hands-on student teaching experience and leads directly to New York State Initial Teaching Certification in both Childhood Education and Special Education.
