Course Overview This program equips students with the essential knowledge and practical skills to become competent social service workers, prepared to support individuals, families, and communities. The curriculum emphasizes a commitment to social justice, equity, and anti-oppressive practice, challenging students to examine their own values while learning to uphold human dignity. Through hands-on counselling labs, community engagement, and two field placements, students develop expertise in assessment, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based intervention.
