Course Overview The Theatre Arts Undergraduate Major is designed to facilitate the deepest form of theatrical expression through the creation of shared performances, demanding a profound array of knowledge, skill, and professional work ethic. Students must fulfill course requirements for General Education, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Theatre Arts program itself, which is split into four core areas. Additionally, students use electives to specialize in one of five distinct areas and participate in a Culminating Undergraduate Experience in their final year. Key Program Highlights Program focuses on creation of performances and development of a professional work ethic Theatre Arts requirements are split into four core areas: Academics, Performance, Design and Technology, and Performance/Production Students utilize 18 elective hours to specialize in one of five areas, including African American Theatre and Playwriting All majors participate in the Culminating Undergraduate Experience in their final year Develops knowledge and skills applicable to any future profession
