BA Music - Jazz Studies

Course Overview The primary outcome of this degree is to rigorously prepare students with highly developed skills in performing and improvising music across a variety of jazz styles. Students gain an understanding of diverse performance techniques and cultivate a deep appreciation for the jazz tradition through the study of and performance with established jazz masters. The program emphasizes both primary and secondary instrument proficiency.
