BS Microbiology

The microbiology department offers courses and small classes taught by Ph.D-holding faculty members. These classes combine classroom learning with hands-on learning experiences. Students have the opportunity to work with state of the art equipment, present research at scientific meetings and co-author scientific papers. In the microbiology department, you are invited to join the WSU American Society for Microbiology Student Chapter. This student-run club hosts a variety of social, educational and career-oriented activities.
