Course Overview This specialized course provides practicing and newly qualified podiatrists with the essential training to develop the advanced competencies required to become a podiatric surgeon. You will expand your knowledge and skills in invasive surgery of the foot and ankle, learning from academics who are also practicing clinicians. The program is distinguished by its full-time format, which includes a significant clinical placement, making it unique in its delivery. Key Program Highlights Gain hands-on surgical experience through a dedicated 17-week clinical placement with a podiatric surgery team. Learn from expert academics who are all active practicing clinicians within the field. Enhance anatomical understanding with a practical dissection session at the University of Leeds. Curriculum is supported and validated by the College of Podiatry Faculty of Podiatric Surgery. Huddersfield is the only university offering this course full-time with an integrated podiatric surgery placement.
