Based in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (CEOAS), the program trains graduates to effectively bridge the critical gap between scientific research and public policy. Students can choose between a professional track, focused on applied projects and internships, or a thesis track for original, rigorous research. Key Program Highlights Gain interdisciplinary training spanning physical sciences, social sciences, law, and policy for a comprehensive management perspective. Choose from two tailored tracks: a professional track with an applied project/internship or a thesis track for in-depth original research. Learn from a vast network of over 40 faculty experts from CEOAS, other university departments, and state/federal agencies. Customize your degree with elective courses in resource economics, fisheries science, political science, and communications. Develop the critical skills to confidently function in professional management roles and mediate between diverse stakeholders.
