Course Overview

Course Overview Diversity is the hallmark of occupational therapy practice. Occupational therapists work with people of all ages to address issues related to participation in everyday life caused by illness, psychological or emotional difficulties, developmental delay, the effects of aging, and life transitions such as retirement. They aim to address barriers that prevent individuals, families, and groups from accessing their communities in ways that are important for health and wellbeing. Please note, we have limited places in this course. Therefore, please submit your application and documentation as soon as possible so that your application can be considered. Applicants will be ranked on academic merit, and selected based on published entry requirements and their entire academic record. Meeting the minimum entry requirements and course specific prerequisites, does not guarantee selection. Please refer to the following link for further application guidelines. This two year course enables students with a first degree in a related field to obtain a professional entry level qualification for practice as an occupational therapist through postgraduate level of study.
