Course Overview This PGCE Secondary History course at the University of Southampton prepares you for a rewarding career as a qualified history teacher in England and Wales. You will develop the essential skills to teach the subject across Key Stages 3 and 4 through a combination of university-based study and extensive school placements. Upon successful completion, you will be qualified to teach in state-maintained and special schools.
