Course Overview This program prepares aspiring educators for Texas certification to teach English Language Arts and Reading to students in Grades 4 through 8. You will build a robust, interdisciplinary academic foundation while mastering the pedagogical skills required for the modern classroom. The curriculum is specifically designed to meet the rigorous standards set by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC).
