Spanish - Secondary Education

The Secondary Education emphasis in Spanish at Utah Tech allows students to immerse themselves in any Spanish-speaking culture. They will be able to use these necessary skills for research, translating and teaching not only the language, but also the literature and the culture of Spanish-speaking country. Traditionally, Spanish major students work as elementary or secondary education teachers. Our location in Utah, a state that is a pioneer in Dual Language Immersion, makes our program a great recruitment place for school districts, not only in our state, but also across the country.
