Course Overview
The art education program in the Mary Schiller Myers School of Art consists of a core curriculum of theory and practice that prepares students to work in a variety of organizational settings, from museums to recreational centers. The B.A. in Art Education plus licensure enables graduates to teach in classrooms from the preschool level through 12th grade. Students in the Mary Schiller Myers School of Art at UA also may earn a Bachelor of Arts in: Students also may pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts, which provides comprehensive preparation for professional practice in one of the following areas:
