Dive into the Earth Sciences with opportunities to engage in active learning in the classroom, lab and outdoor field environments. Learn effective teaching practices and strategies to implement in the classroom based on current research. Gain practical experience in the classroom while supervised by active licensed teachers. Conduct an undergraduate geoscience research project under the supervision of a faculty member. Participate in the Geology, Applied Environmental Geosciences, or the Sigma Gamma Epsilon (a geology honor society) clubs to connect with EST and other EES majors while exploring Utahβs local geology.
