Course Overview The NMC-accredited BSc (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health) degree prepares students to become compassionate and confident mental health nurses through a blend of academic study and extensive practice learning. Delivered full time over three years, the programme equips students with the clinical, communication and interpersonal skills required to support individuals, families and communities across diverse mental health settings. Through placements in secure, forensic, hospital and community environments, alongside simulated learning and civic engagement opportunities, students develop the ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality mental health care.
