Course Overview
The PhD in Counselor Education at the University of Cincinnati is a CACREP accredited doctoral program that prepares its graduates to become skilled in research, teaching, and supervision from an ecological perspective. Doctoral graduates are committed to the development of their research and teaching potential, in addition to developing skills that enable them to provide service and leadership for diverse populations. Candidates selected to enter the program typically possess clinical competence through their Master's program training. This allows the focus of their training to center upon development and enhancement of research, teaching, supervision, and leadership skills.
