Course Overview Mathematics is more than just numbers and letters. It is the ability to problem solve, think logically and identify similar patterns in a variety of applications and contexts. It is also the transcribing of these patterns and relationships into symbolic or abstract form as a mathematical model, making it possible to analyse the patterns, identify the mechanisms that generate them and find solutions to the real-world system or problem that the model represents.
