You will build confidence and self-reliance as an outdoor educator by learning to lead groups in activities like backpacking, climbing, and skiing. The curriculum is built on a foundation of experiential education, civic engagement, and a strong commitment to preserving the natural world. Key Program Highlights Hands-on experiential learning through multi-day wilderness immersion trips to iconic national parks. Practical skills development on the college's Adventure Bound Ropes Course, including program design and facilitation. Industry-recognized Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification and realistic mock rescue training.
