Course Overview
Course Overview Working with parks, seasons, coastlines and communities, landscape architectural designers address and respond to global issues, including climate change, reconciliation, biodiversity loss, environmental degradation, and the provision of meaningful public space. Through design, in this degree you will learn how the discipline of landscape architecture interacts with natural ecosystems and built environments as well as cultural and social frameworks. You will learn to think conceptually; developing ideas from what you observe and modeling your ideas to develop and test design proposals in response. In the Bachelor of Landscape Architectural Design, you will learn design through a design studio format wherein you immerse yourself deeply in a creative project. These provide you with a unique way of exploring ideas and creative practice whilst integrating knowledge from related learning streams.
