www.umflint.edu/case/academic-departments/fine-performing-arts/ Program Advisor: Ben Gaydos The Bachelor of Arts Education, as a K-12 certification, has the following requirements, which differ from those of secondary programs in other disciplines. In unusual circumstances, courses may be taken out of sequence with consent of the Art and Art History Department. Professional requirements are to be completed in three phases, in sequence, during which the student creates an Individual Major Portfolio. A minimum grade of C (2.0) is required in each course. In addition, for progression from phase to phase and completion of the program, minimum GPAs of 3.0 (B) in the discipline and 2.7 (B-) in the professional coursework and overall are required.
