Course Overview Our long-established PGCE Primary course equips you with the knowledge and practical experience to become a confident, reflective teacher, ready to meet the professional standards for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will gain extensive hands-on experience through placements in two contrasting schools, supported by campus-based sessions that explore the principles of effective teaching. The course offers a choice of specialism in either Lower Primary (Foundation/KS1) or Primary (KS1/KS2), preparing you for a successful career across the primary curriculum.
