Course Overview Advance your civil engineering career with expertise in geotechnical, structural, construction, and water engineering, and qualify for Engineers Australia membership. Civil engineers are responsible for the design and construction of all types of structures including single to multi-storied buildings, roads, dams, bridges, pipelines, towers, harbours, airports and railways. Civil engineers also plan design and test the infrastructure associated with transport gas supply water supply and sewerage systems. Key Program Highlights This course provides you with real experience in your chosen profession, through our Co-operative Model. You will undertake a minimum of 30 days (225 hours) paid placement in industry – contributing directly to course credits. Federation University will arrange the placements for you through our network of industry partners.Flexible placements options are available which include full time over one semester, part time over an extended period or in blocks embedded into your subjects.
