Course Overview This programme explores the challenges and complexities of supporting learners with diverse educational needs in an increasingly inclusive and rapidly changing world. You will examine the rights of children to be included in education and investigate current barriers to inclusivity through critical engagement with contemporary theory, debates and research. Designed for teachers, graduates and professionals, the course equips you with the knowledge and collaborative skills needed to support neurodivergent learners and those identified with a range of learning, physical, sensory and behavioural needs. Key Program Highlights Study the educational needs of neurodivergent learners, including those with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism and SEBD/ADHD. Critically analyse current debates, policies and research in special and inclusive education. Develop effective strategies and structures to support children in inclusive educational settings. Learn to collaborate with teachers, parents/carers and multidisciplinary agencies to enhance pupil outcomes. Option to progress to a full MA qualification if you have completed the National Award for SEN Coordination.
