PHD Statistics

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Statistics represents achievement of a broad knowledge of statistics, of the ability to communicate statistics in both written and oral form, and of a demonstrated creative ability in a particular branch of statistics. Most of our PhD students receive full financial support (tuition remission and a Graduate Assistantship, a fellowship, or an internship), and most are supported throughout their entire UC career. Travel support is available for students to attend or present their work at conferences.
