Course Overview This Midwifery Studies degree prepares you to become a competent, confident, and autonomous midwife, dedicated to providing the safest and best care for women and families. The program blends university-based theory, clinical skills simulation, and extensive real-world placements to equip you for a rewarding career. You will learn to deliver individualized, holistic care throughout the pregnancy journey, from antenatal to postnatal stages. Key Program Highlights Regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and designed by experienced midwives for the next generation. Gain extensive hands-on experience through diverse clinical placements in birth centres, labour wards, and community settings. Learn to provide holistic, individualized care with a focus on promoting normality and ensuring the best outcomes. Develop exceptional communication and interpersonal skills alongside your theoretical and practical knowledge. Benefit from two annual intakes (March and September) and may be eligible for a non-repayable NHS grant of at least £5,000 per year.
