Course Overview This course prepares you for a dynamic career as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), a vital role working within surgical teams to provide patient care during anaesthetic, surgical, and post-anaesthetic phases. You will gain a strong theoretical foundation complemented by extensive hands-on experience in simulated and real clinical environments. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to begin your practice as a qualified perioperative practitioner.
