Course Overview This accredited course prepares you for a rewarding career as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), the UK's only undergraduate Allied Health Profession trained specifically for the operating theatre. You will learn to work autonomously and alongside surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the anaesthetic, surgical, and recovery phases. The program combines extensive hands-on practice in simulated environments with real-world placements to ensure you are ready to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
