Course Overview

Course Overview Audiology is a clinical science involving assessment and management of hearing and balance and rehabilitation. Assessments involve the use of several specialised tests which help to ascertain the site or type of problem within the auditory system. Audiologists work closely with other healthcare practitioners including speech pathologists, ENT surgeons and Paediatricians. Key Program Highlights The Master of Clinical Audiology consists of on-campus teaching and clinical placements. Clinical placements commence in the first year and gradually increase throughout the course. In the second and final year of the course, students are also involved in a research project related to the field. Students demonstrating research aptitude may be considered for PhD studies within the department The Master of Clinical Audiology program is suitable for those who are interested in working with and helping others.
