Course Overview This programme provides the advanced skills needed to understand and conduct high-quality research in healthcare, delivered within an interdisciplinary environment. Developed in partnership with the ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership, it offers a rich learning experience through collaboration with leading universities across the region. Taught by experts from politics, social sciences and health, the course prepares students for academic, clinical academic or healthcare research careers—making it an excellent pathway for those currently working in healthcare or planning to progress to PhD-level study.
