BSc (Hons) Orthoptics

Course Overview This Orthoptics program equips students with the specialized knowledge and clinical skills to diagnose and manage a wide range of vision disorders, from strabismus and amblyopia to conditions caused by neurological injury or disease. Graduates emerge as competent, reflective practitioners prepared to become valuable members of the eye care team, serving diverse patients from infants to the elderly. The program is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), providing eligibility for professional registration upon completion.
