Course Overview This studio-based Fine Art degree equips students with the creative and critical skills to confidently enter the professional art world. The program encourages a personal and expansive approach to contemporary practice, supported by teaching from actively practicing artists. Students are immersed in a vibrant creative community with opportunities for international exchange, interdisciplinary projects, and direct engagement with the contemporary art scene. Key Program Highlights Specialize in expansive areas like painting/print media or sculpture/time-based art, with freedom to experiment across disciplines. Learn from a program of visiting professional artists and benefit from collaborations with The Whitworth gallery for public talks. Develop your practice within an international context through the ERASMUS exchange program and national/international study trips. Participate in Unit X, an innovative interdisciplinary unit that involves collaboration on external-facing projects. Focus on the production of artwork within dedicated studios and workshops as the core of your studies.
