Course Overview This course prepares you for a rewarding career as a children's nurse, equipping you with the skills to communicate effectively and provide complex care for children with varied physical and mental health needs. You will split your time equally between our City Campus and diverse clinical placements, graduating with both an Honours degree and professional registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Key Program Highlights Earn a dual qualification: a BSc (Hons) degree and professional registration with the NMC. Gain hands-on experience through placements across multiple NHS regions in acute, community, and home care settings. Develop critical skills in our state-of-the-art Clinical Skills Centre using simulated patient scenarios with actors. Complete a self-directed honours project on a children's nursing topic of your choice. Learn to create and evaluate comprehensive care plans for children with complex needs.
