Course Overview This degree offers a critical examination of modern history from the 19th to the 21st century, using the past to interrogate the pressing challenges of our contemporary world. It moves beyond traditional narratives by incorporating insights from politics and cultural studies and by investigating how history itself is produced and used. You will develop sophisticated analytical and argumentative skills through active participation in small, discussion-based seminar groups.
