Course Overview This multidisciplinary program equips students for a career in conservation management by providing advanced training in the scientific principles and cutting-edge analytical methods required to address complex ecological challenges. The program offers a unique opportunity to conduct field research in partnership with the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Tanzania, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application in African ecosystems. Key Program Highlights Accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, contributing towards Chartered Biologist (CBiol) status. Develop expertise in applied ecology, conservation genetics, economic tools, and human dimensions of conservation. Master essential skills in scientific study design, data analysis, and communication for both research and policy. Undertake a dedicated research project focused on a specific, real-world conservation management issue. Gain unique field experience through our established partnership with NM-AIST in Arusha, Tanzania.
