Course Overview This MA Postcolonial Studies program critically examines the relationships of power, domination, and cultural production from the late nineteenth century to the present day. Through literature, film, and media, the course explores the enduring impacts of imperialism and the complex processes of decolonization. Students will engage with diverse theoretical frameworks to analyze texts from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
