Course Overview This MA Postcolonial Studies programme critically examines the relationships of power, domination, and cultural production from the late nineteenth-century to the present day. Through literature, film, and media, the course explores the enduring impacts of imperialism and the complex processes of decolonization. Students will engage with a diverse range of theoretical approaches and cultural texts from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
