MA Gender Studies

Course Overview The SOAS MA in Gender Studies is a unique programme that moves beyond Western feminist frameworks to center the complex specificities of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Students are equipped to critically engage with and challenge issues of racism, class violence, Islamophobia, and queerphobia within global feminist politics.
