MA Japanese Studies and Intensive Language (Chinese)

Course Overview This intensive six-week summer course in China is a core component of the two-year Intensive Language (Chinese) programmes, offering full linguistic and cultural immersion. Taught entirely in Chinese by local academic staff, it is designed to rapidly build fluency through daily practice in authentic social and cultural contexts. Final assessment is conducted at SOAS upon the student's return.
